SOBs Info Notes
If you are a certified Ride Leader then be sure to be at the meeting this Friday, Jan. 27th. We will meet at the Travel Bug at 10:30. Judy Costlow will be leading the group in drafting the 2012 ride schedule to be presented at the Annual Planning Meeting on Thursday, Feb. 2nd at REI. We will meet in the community room at 10:30.
I have the 2012 membership cards ready so be prepared to renew at the sign in table.
The Traffic Skill 201 class is full. Just a reminder to the 11 people that signed up we will meet on the three Thursdays prior to the start of the riding season in the Community Room at REI. Steven Newhall will be joining me to do the mechanical section of the course. The dates again are March 15, 22, & 29 at 10:30.
Also Stephen Griego is starting to prepare for the Santa Fe Century (see blog post above) If you would like to join the fun, starting about mid-February his e-mail address is: Francis Stephen Griego <fsg@u.arizona.edu>. Part of the preparation is wearing a calorie monitor and beginng to incorporate, during each sob ride, some intensity intervals or climbing work.
