Today I noticed construction on a concrete extension of the rail trail between Old Pen Road and the intersection of Cerrillos and St Francis. This 6' wide, 100' long hunk of concrete, behind the Chevron Station, covers the only remaining dirt between Rabbit Road and the Railyard.

Yea, all we need now is a tunnel under, or a bridge over the dreaded St Francis Drive intersection.
