It’s the first day of spring and time to get serious about cycling.

The ride schedule is posted on the web site: santafesobs.com.

Our first Thursday scheduled ride is April 7th. We’ll meet at Museum Hill parking lot at 10:00. The distances are short for all three rides so for those of us who haven’t been riding this winter it is a good way to start getting in shape.

The Tuesday rides are meeting at Java Joes in Albertson’s parking lot off Guadalupe at 10:00. Right not they are going to be short but we are working up to do the Santa Fe Century on Sunday, May 15th. Right now two of us are committed to doing the full 100 miles.

The Traffic Skills 101 class on Thursdays is in progress with two SOBs participating, Mark Warchol and George Raney.

Our current membership is 32. The membership drive will end on the last day of April. The best way to pay your $10 dues is at the sign-up table at the rides.  You can mail me a check at 2105 Paseo Ponderosa, Santa Fe, NM 87501.

I have had a few complaints about me taking photos at and on the rides. So this year I will not be using the camera much. Basically I used the photos on the club history which I will not do this year.

Just a personal note, I am not in my house. Construction is close to being completed, maybe two more weeks.
